Build-PAC is an entity separate from OHBA with its own officers and directors.  The committee raises funds to be used for contributions to candidates for state elective offices.  All members are encouraged to join Build-PAC.

Build-PAC is a state regulated PAC.  It is authorized to make contributions to State candidates.  It is not a federal PAC and is not authorized to make contributions to candidates for federal office.  NAHB has a federal PAC and generally makes these contributions.  PAC laws are very specific in terms of corporate contributions being prohibited.  No corporate checks may be contributed to Build-PAC.  The Build-PAC Board of Trustees, is a separate entity from the OHBA Board of Trustees.
